Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually happening.
